We are getting closer and closer to our opening weekend of Season 14 at the Illiniwek Forest Preserve on Saturday, April 16th and Sunday, April 17th.
Are you new to racing? Do you need to sharpen up your mountain bike riding skills after the long Winter layoff?
Then we have good news for you!
One week from this Saturday, FORC will kickoff our 14th Season with a MTB 101 clinic from 11 am – 1 pm on Saturday, April 16th at the Illiniwek Forest Preserve. This event is FREE and will be taught by certified/trained mountain bike instructors. What a great way to kickoff the series and season this year. Make a weekend of it with the clinic, learn the trails we will be racing on the next day, and enjoy the beautiful Mississippi River scenery. Read about the clinic here and make plans to attend.
One week from this Sunday, on April 17th is when the racing fun begins on some of the best flowing singletrack you’ll find in our area. Mike Corbin is our new race director for this event and we welcome him along with FORC who always reward us with an excellent event. Read all about the event HERE. Get registered HERE.
