IMBCS #6 FORC Side Thrill Ride
New Date: Sunday, October 11, 2015
Old Date: Sunday, July 12, 2015
Race Director: Michael Vittetoe, FORC
Sunderbruch offers a familiar midwest singletrack experience with a twist. In 2012 the trail system was expanded one mile to include large wooden berms, multiple bridges, and a “party deck” in the middle of the woods. The trails feature plenty of constructed technical features, roots, leg burning climbs, and bone shaking downhills.
The race course will be laid out and available for pre-riding late Saturday afternoon the day before the event. This year’s course will be the same as last year. The course will be run in a counter-clockwise direction.
With the change to the October date, an extra day of fun and frivolity has been added! See “Saturday Fest Information” below for more information.

Saturday Fest Information
Saturday, October 10, 2015 will be a low key bike fun fest with events happening throughout the day. We won’t be providing food, but there will be a couple of grills available to throw on some grub. If you have your own grill, it might be a good idea to bring it as a backup in case the racks get crowded. There are also a number of nearby places to get food if you don’t feel like grilling. Also, don’t forget to bring a six-pack to share at the beer potluck!
Time Trial: Hot lap of Sunderbruch. Prizes for top times.
Dodge Tire and/or Bike Polo Tournaments: Test your riding skills in a whole new way with fun bike games. Spectator friendly.
Group Night Ride: Never ridden at night with a group of your fellow MTBers? Now is your chance to check this awesome experience off your list. If you’ve done it before we don’t need to tell you to charge those lights!
